Founded in 1957, Daytona Beach Community College has evolved from a small campus into an academically superior, multi-campus institution with a tradition of excellence and locations in Daytona Beach, DeLand, Deltona, New Smyrna Beach and Palm Coast. DBCC offers 65 educational programs. Its associate of arts degree graduates can transfer as juniors to any of Florida's 10 public universities-and most private ones.
DBCC is home to WCEU-TV 15, a PBS affiliate offering a variety of educational programming, including college-credit Telecourses. The College also hosts the internationally recognized Southeast Museum of Photography.
Advanced Technology Center. Provides advanced technical training that meets the current and future needs of industry in the area.
Daytona Beach Campus. The largest of the institution's campuses and houses the College's primary administrative offices offers a wide range of university transfer degree programs which prepare students to transfer to a university as third-year students.
Those wishing to become a nurse find an excellent opportunity to obtain the bachelor degree necessary for acceptance into a nursing program with advanced training. While the university does not itself offer a BSN, it does assist students with finding the best fit after graduation.
Our international students have transferred to such schools as the University of Washington, Seattle University, University of Utah, Arizona State University, and many others.
DeLand Campus. Deltona Center. Easternmost anchor of the Florida High Tech Corridor and home to DBCC's Simulation Technology program and other high-tech programs.
Flagler/Palm Coast Campus. Offers preparatory, vocational, college credit, and continuing education coursework. Courses offered fulfill all general education requirements for the associate of arts degree and many requirements for associate of science degree programs. We regularly survey our students to find out how we're doing and what our students like best. In our last survey, students cited the following as superior attributes in our college environment
